Don Liuzzi, drums and vocals, is the principal timpanist of The Philadelphia Orchestra, and a Yamaha Artist. He teaches at the Curtis Institute of Music, plays in Philorch Jazz sextet, POPG percussion group, and has a solo percussion and chamber music CD release Movement in Time, on Equilibrium Records. He also conducts the Philadelphia All City High School Orchestra, and is the founding conductor of the Curtis 20/21 New Music Ensemble.
